 After 3 weeks of auditions, and struggles in bootcamp, the judges have finally chosen the 9 contestants to participate in the Bandaids X Factor Member Poll rounds! You know what that means! This weekend, you the members will choose who gets the boot from now on in! You can check out the Bandaids X Factor Round 1 right here, where all the contestants will be singing a Disney song from a Disney animation movie of their choice! You can also congratulate our 9 very talented contestants, Callie, Carolyn, Chyaz, Djamila, Edd, Joshua, Kristin, Madison and Teresa in our Bandaids X Factor Bootcamp Results thread! The contestants have now auditioned, and 18 has turned into 13! All contestants are ready to rumble and some of them will become a well known face to the Bandaids members as the contest progresses! After 12 days of auditions, 18 entries, and 2,000 thread views, Bandaids X Factor has turned into a site phenomenom! Now the results are being handed out one by one by each judge, and we are seeing which of the contestants will make it through to the bootcamp stage of our contest. We will be closing the auditions phase sometime early Saturday morning in the UK timezone. The Bandaids X Factor team would like to inform you that the entry deadline for auditions on Bandaids X Factor has been extended to Friday the 26th of February. Due to personal schedules, surprise site downtime, and the lack of time available because of that, we have decided to extend the entrance dates 5 days. All members will have more time to prepare their very important audition! As said before Bandaids X Factor was first originated on Bandaids to allow musical talent on Bandaids to be noticed by an audience. It gives people a chance to let their talent be heard, and get rewarded for it! We're all very excited to see your auditions and musical talent! Today is the day! Well it wasn't supposed to be the day, but it totally is the day!!! (haha!) Bandaids X Factor is starting a day early so you guys can have some more time to prepare your life-changing audition! Yes, Bandaids X Factor has officially launched, and what a contest it's set up to be! All you singers, musicians and budding artists out there are about to be blown away because the biggest and baddest competition on Bandaids is about to unfold, and you just HAVE to be a part of it! With a secret prize in store, some awesome musical performances, and exciting competition, we will have the perfect mixture to keep us going until Avril Lavigne's lead single from her 4th record is released. So.... have you always wanted to be a respected artist? or get noticed for your singing voice? Do you want an audience to finally hear you and have struggled in the past to get noticed? Well then the Bandaids X Factor Auditions are for you! With over 30,000 views and 1,000 votes last year, most of the competitors had their share of videos going well over 1,000 views on youtube also! As announced two days ago Bandaids X Factor is starting on February 15th 2010! Look down a few mainpage updates for more information on the singing/music talent competition! Now we have even more media for you to keep you going before you blow up with suspence for the start of Bandaids X Factor! Yesterday we capped up on last year's Bandaids X Factor where we made a shortlist of some of the best contestants and their performances! You can watch the Best Bandaids X Factor Performances right here! Also just about 5 minutes ago we revealed who the judges would be for the exciting site-wide event! All you crazy musicians out there, I have very good news! Bandaids X Factor is back! Yes, the chance to show off your singing skills to the world is now upon you! Over a series of auditions, performances, and member polls budding musicians/singers will battle it out to be crowned the most talented music act on Bandaids - and there's over 100,000 of you here so that would be a huge accomplishment!! Last year Bandaids X Factor brought in over 30,000 views from members, over 1,000 votes, and even lead to one of our finalists getting a position in her school band as a singer (Hey Theresa! haha). Yes Bandaids X Factor is truly a great oppurtunity for starting musicians to finally get heard by an audience! The auditions begin on February 15th, and more details will be revealed as the comeptition reveals itself! We have a load of surprises, some awesome judges, a friendly member audience who support the artists, and a great atmosphere for people who want to be noticed to grow as musicians!  This is extra cute! A pair of Paramore fans recently got engaged at the band's show in Plymouth! Apparently Josh Farro helped the groom-to-be orchestrate it all. Only days ago yet another fantastic addition to the Bandaider family was announced, and with that, we now bring you the unveiling of the next band to join the network. The world famous 3 piece, located in the UK, slowly made a name for themselves in the late nineties and were living it large in the mainstream punk industry. Claiming this image of themselves was not so accurate, the release of their 2006 record launched them into the mainstream and the following summer in 2007, they played their largest shows ever at Wembley Stadium, London. 2009 brought us their most recent release, bringing us such hits as Uprising and Undisclosed Desires. I would like to get special attention for our Bandaids Galleries over at Evan, Sum 41, Taylor Swift, Paramore and Lady Gaga Bandaids. This weekend we will be running some test. Therefor all these Galleries will be taken offline till Saturday night. The AvrilBandaids Gallery will be kept online all weekend and will be functioning as normal. There is no need to worry about the other galleries. When I will put them online again everything will be as normal! If you still have any urgent questions regarding this, feel free to contact me.
